Passport Requirements for Citizens of the USA, Canadian and Mexico

Effective January 8, 2007, citizens of the United States, Canada, Bermuda, and Mexico will need a passport or other accepted documents to enter or re-enter the United States. A passport will be required to enter the U.S. when traveling to or from Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Bermuda by air or sea. Effective January 1, 2008, anyone traveling across the U.S. border by air, land, or sea will be required to present a passport or valid identification for entry.
